Baka Workshops & Camps

BAKA WORKSHOPS really took off last year and the summer saw the first and very fabulous BAKA CAMP. . . a weekend of exploring all things Baka. . . singing, percussion, guitar, discussion, films, forest skills.

Wonderful hot food was provided and a gig, yoga and massage thrown into the mix!!

It took place in a beautiful ancient orchard near Gloucester with good weather, a full moon, singing round the camp fire, round house, yurts and lots of laughter. It was such fun that we are doing it again, twice! Places are limited to 40, so early booking is essential.

CAMPS:

June 17th-19th     Devon

Arrivals from midday on 11th, workshops start at 4pm

Aug 26th-28th    "Malobe" Camp, (Night time ceremony and celebration) probably near Monmouth with Martin & Su of Baka Beyond and with Jerome and Ingred Lewis who lived for 3 years with the Mbendjele Pygmies in Congo.
£95 including hot evening meals

Camps will include:

• Hot vegetarian evening meals on Friday and Saturday
• Camping
• Films and talks
• Singing workshops
• Percussion workshops
• Guitar workshop
• All workshops in beautiful covered spaces
• Shared lunches
